Genuinely surprised at the backlash from some quarters that seem to suggest some sort of racial motivation for the sacking of Hughton.

I can't see this as being anything other than BAD for the progression of BAME managers in the game, since it could conceivably make others think twice about recruiting a black manager, because they fear that when it comes time to sack him in the future (because that's what happens to most football managers), they'll likely be accused or racism.

Pathetic. Surely only detrimental to BAME's cause coming out with this shit. How many white managers were sacked during CH's tenure? As for Danny Rose, he really isn't the sharpest tool in the box.

They can do one. To imply that is irresponsible and tantamount to libel. Up until yesterday, BOTH our men's and women's were BAME. How many other club's could've said that? Ridiculous to imply that there is any racial factors in this

Not impossible that Rosenior will be part of new set up and that will be down to ABILITY

Change was as statement says a very hard decision - and results driven

There ARE no racial implications IMHO. Just the traditional sacking of a manager on the back of a piss poor string of results. Is CH supposed to be patronised with special treatment? Pretty sure that's the last thing he'd want.

Decision was based on results and performance , or the lack of not on race , religion , belief or even brexit end of and anyone saying otherwise is just stirring the pot. Shame there are a lack of BAME people in managerial & coaching positions but it is what it is & CH sacking has nothing to do with it.

Those Darren Lewis tweets are repulsive. We get there is a problem Darren, watch the highlights reel from our season- this is NOTHING to do with skin colour.

There's going to be a Twitter campaign to get us expelled from the PL.

Good job the women's team is sticking with Hope Powell. Any of our detractors mentioned we still have a BAME manager of one of our professional sides?

It's lazy journalism and sensationalist crap like this that will put the BAME management movement back. And yes, we do still have a black manager at the club in Hope Powell, so this is even more stinking bullshit.

So, are clubs not allowed to sack black managers? Ridiculous. CH was with us 4 and a half years FFS.

Indeed, but this is sadly how the world works today. There will be worse to come as CH was sacked by a JEW. BHA hang your head in shame: you've allowed yourselves to become a Zionist tool. The oppression of the Palestinian people will continue all the while Israeli agents are allowed to operate in British football.
