Although I was surprised in the manner that CH was ousted, in more shocked that an immediate replacement has not been announced.
Surely, they would have had some pointers out, ready for the announcement of CH’s departure? If someone isn’t named by the end of the week I would be concerned.

What's the big rush? Players are on holiday. Lots of other staff to do all the essential things. We are an attractive option. There may only be twenty or thirty other more attractive clubs to manage in the whole of Europe. We will obviously have a short list (with perhaps just a couple of names)....but no harm in seeing who else might throw their cap in the ring.
