Shouldn't we be talking about the odds of survival?

Not according to that oddschecker screen print - we're still 2/1 at PP

PP were 7-4 on 13 May and pushed us out to 2-1 after Hughton was sacked the next day.

At the best price in the village, though, we've gone the other way - 11-4 to 5-2.

Interesting, never looked on the 13th May, we now seem to be slowly returning to mean 9/4 to 2/1, fully expect a drift back out after Monday..

Doubt there will be much happening before the playoff final - if Derby go up, they will be a fair bit shorter for the drop than Villa.

Yes, I think if Villa get promoted Albion's price will shorten if Derby go up I think we will drift to 5/2 to 11/4 maybe bigger?

Not sure how to paste web pages, but the relegation odds now that the division is complete are:

1.8 Sheff Utd (4/5)
1.95 Norwich (19/20)
3.25 Burnley (9/4)
3.5 Albion (5/2)
3.5 Villa (5/2)
6 Southampton (5/1)
7 Palace (6/1)
7.5 Watford (13/2)
8 Bournemouth (7/1)
13 bar (12/1)

Interesting that Newcastle aren't even included given what a basket case club they are. Would have them ahead of Watford for the drop.

Villa at 5/2 is huge in my humble opinion. How many of their squad get into out starting eleven, not many. Mings and Abrahams have been massive for them and they will have to pay plenty to get Mings and I doubt Abraham will be back.

Four of the last five playoff winners have gone straight back down, Huddersfield being the exception.

5/2 with £3.65 is just plain wrong.

Guess the odds reflect stories that they're going to be sold to a billionaire from Abu Dhabi. If that falls through, they'll probably come in a point or two (they're 12-1 at the moment).

Their other centre half Tuanzebe has gone back to Man U as well
