In the absence of anywhere else to put it chew over this, before adding any other actual statistics from the season:-

If Arsenal had beaten us instead of drawing last week they would have finished third rather than fifth.
And if my Aunty had....

And I'll throw in a quick one - that was our 200th game at the Amex, Pld 200, W 95, D 57, L 48, F 294, A 197. Watched by 5,127,277 people. Here's to the next 200, hopefully most of them in the Prem!

How many goals have our midfield scored this season? Can’t imagine that there are many teams who’s midfield have contributed less when it comes to goals scored.

I like the 'heat map' effect of the 'days spent in position' image. Really shows that a few teams have rather dropped off (us, Bournemouth, Watford) and some had a bit of a late resurgence

God save us all from stats. The most depressing and boring development in football - and life generally - before everything got measured and marginal gains became a way of life that’s killed everything from a generous spirit pour in a pub to MOTD highlights. It’s a yawn from me....zzzzz

1 home league win on average every six and a half weeks over the course of this season. Too long to wait?

Am I right in thinking in both of our seasons in the top flight we've never actually finished a gameweek in the relegation zone? Feels like that's not far off being the case.
