I missed the lot, rehearsing for a gig on Sat, highlights anywhere yet?

Agree about latenseason performances and reinvigorating some fight for whooping Saudi oil ***** on Sunday.

When you see it watch the fourth, never seen anything like it.

Making them the joint 3rd most successful side in the history of the competition. In your eyes they haven't proved themselves in Europe? :ffsparr:

Put the ****er on ignore. Sussex Nobhead delivers shite on a daily basis and is beyond learning.

El Pais report:

'Although it no longer smells like when football was thought of in The Boot Room, Anfield is still Anfield. Now it gives off the same smell that many stadiums, even resembles some of the most modern in the Champions, and arrival in the field is more comfortable and quiet, more fluffy than in the alley of the European Cup. There is, however, no field that roars so much and so well, in such a harmonious and synchronised way, as Anfield. The communion begins with the a cappella song of You'll never walk alone, admirable above all for the silent fans, always fascinated by the liturgy of the Premier teams.

The ritual hypnotises any rival, also those who are already warned, or if you want to be chastened like Barça. There is no field that has the soul of Anfield. The excitement is breathtaking as soon as the match starts even if Barça takes the ball.'

Just a shame the Great British public in general couldn’t watch it. Thats greedy football for you!

Was saying exactly the same after the Spurs v Man City game. Don't even get the highlights on terrestrial now.

I was doing a 12 hour shift in A&E tonight and just seen the result.
I mentioned in another thread about the fact that Anfield isn’t always that great for league games, but in Europe it’s something else.
Doesn’t really matter what you think of the Reds as a club, a possible 6 win by a British club is something special we should all acknowledge.
Simply astonishing result tonight.

The single most brilliant game of footie I have ever seen!!!!!!!!

With the qualification: 'That isn't a Brighton game'....personally there are 100 of those at least I would put above any other. Apart from that, yes, that was brilliant. Happily I shared it with some good pals, including my 77 year old scouser neighbour (seen the Beatles more than 20 times, Liverpool from division 2 and Phil Taylor to today, The Mighty Wah!, larks in the park, etc etc). You'd need a heart of stone to not smile. And best wishes to Bwian punk:

The UK is not socialist enough to subsidise the BBC to outbid BT Sport or Sky for football. And Corbyn prefers tiddly***** to football so he won't change anything. But we can all survive. Find a pub like what we did. And I actually have BT sport. And....exhale.

As much as Liverpool piss me off, I can't help but admire Alexander-Arnold's nerve. The little spawny git pulled off a playground trick that will be talked about for years to come.

And the reality is millions would moan if something like Eastenders was moved.

In fairness, it’s not. They’ve done it before on numerous occasions!

Nobody has overturned a 3 goal first leg deficit in a Champions League semifinal and while Istanbul was special to put in that performance in front of your own fans in the middle of a dogfight for the title is incredible. It's great to debate this type of question because so often the debate is about cheating, VAR, refereeing mistakes. Tonight was pure 100% fearless attacking football. For me it was the best performance since Germany turned over Brazil 7-1.

Milner is an incredible player really. He IS limited, but he knows that, knows how to get the most out of himself, puts in an incredible shift, and seems to be twice as clever as anyone else. Hugely underrated.
According to NSC he's always been shit.

If anyone could PM a link to download the whole game, that would be most appreciated. Same for the City vs Spurs CL game.

Liverpool had their talisman Salah and Firmino out tonight as well. If CH decides to step aside.... No Klopp may look at other options:wink:
