[Albion] What would happen if we finished dead level with Cardiff?

This would require us to revert to the form shown against Bournemouth, whilst Cardiff would need to recapture their performance against Chelsea, a match they would surely have won with VAR.

So, the nightmare scenario...

Cardiff 3 Palace 0, Arsenal 5 Albion 0.

Man Utd 0 Cardiff 0, Albion 0 Man City 6 .

Would it go on away form, or maybe disciplinary record, before any play-off?

Presumably we would go down due to Head to Head

From PL website......

If any clubs finish with the same number of points, their position in the Premier League table is determined by goal difference, then the number of goals scored. If the teams still cannot be separated, they will be awarded the same position in the table.

......hopefully alphabetical order [emoji106][emoji16]

I lie - a play off

C.17. If at the end of the Season either the League Champions or the Clubs to be relegated
or the question of qualification for other competitions cannot be determined
because two or more Clubs are equal on points, goal difference and goals scored,
the Clubs concerned shall play off one or more deciding League Matches on neutral
grounds, the format, timing and venue of which shall be determined by the Board.

You missed the vital bit in your quote.

C.7. Subject to Rule C.17, if any two or more Clubs have scored the same number of
points, have the same goal difference and have scored the same number of goals in
League Matches in that Season; they shall be deemed to occupy the same position
in the table.

I didn’t go to the actual rules, just the homepage.
Anyway, excellent, would love a playoff [emoji106]

Could the playoff match then be placed at Selhurst?

Closer to Brighton but would Palarse fans show up to sing for Cardiff and help BHA go down?

Wouldn’t be able to get tickets.......two club allocations and several thousand FA hangers-on would fill that dump quickly.

Imagine if we had the home end [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

Just checked the Premier League site and it was as I thought.

‘If in the event of both teams having the same goal difference and the same goals scored then the sheepshagging Welsh twats will go out’
‘If two Welsh sides are involved then see subsection 3A Tie.... (Who gives a f..uck)
