Need a new suit for the one or two times a month I actually wear one.

Fancy a bespoke/tailored option. Simple charcoal grey, single breasted, decent fit - in my 40s so I don't want the trousers to look like yoga leggings

Have relied on M&S's more costly ranges in the past when I wore one daily but now fancy a Saville Road one (or a similar local Tailor).

Any NSC tips most welcome

Suit Supply.

If you’re up in town then their flagship store sits on the junction of Burlington Gardens and Saville Row.

Bespoke options start at c£350/450 I think from memory.

If you want the full jobbie, Savile Row is the best in world. Huntsman for traditional English with a slight country feel, Richard Anderson for a younger style, city type suit, Gieves and Hawkes for straight up and down, military style, and Ozwald Boateng for a funky, but still immaculately tailored suit. All imo. Take your time, visit 4 or 5 tailors to discuss your requirements and to assess house styles (they vary more than you’d imagine) - both for pleasure, and to ensure you’ll like the end product - it’ll be expensive, so you might as well invest a bit of time.

Have fun, and good luck.
