Tewkesbury. No castle, but a pretty violent and comprehensive re-enactment of the battle every year (July 13th. and 14th. this year).

They do a lot of re-enactments here, and seem to be some very large organisations involved. Im sure they must do medieval, although ive not seen one. One organisation did a re-enactment of the battle for Zizkov (ie my old area) at the end of ww2 when the Russian Liberation Army changed sides and fell in with the locals. Was pretty epic tbf. They even used flame throwers!! Starts around 6 mins in after local counciller unveils new street signs with a couple of veterans

Google Puy-du-Fou , it is in France. Visited on several occasions, never fails to bring out a "wtf" when I see their latest show.
