six feet beneath the moon...
Haven't seen another thread so here we go:

Ryan 6 - No chance with their goal

Bruno 6.5 - Did OK. Good cross for our goal

Dunk 6 - Couple of dodgy moments but otherwise solid

Duffy 6.5 - see Dunk, but also got forward very well

Bernardo 7- very threatening down the left hand side

Kayal 5- Didn't do much good, was at fault for their goal along with Stephens and then went off injured

Stephens 6- First half would have given him a 5, was slow, sloppy and at fault for their goal. Was a changed man in the second half and bossed it, would've given him a 7 for that. 6 is the middle ground.

Gross 7- Finally we scored a f***ing goal, and this man gets a 7 for that. Wasn't man of the match as the sponsors said, though. Some good deliveries, but what WAS that free kick in the first half about!?

Izquierdo 4 - Offered nothing again and couldn't control anything. Something not at all ok with him

Murray 6 - Good knock down for the goal, but should have scored that late chance

Andone 6 - Was the only one who looked like he cared in the first half, but still a little hot-headed.

SUBS

Solly 8.5 MOTM - Absolutely SUPERB. Totally changed the game and gave us some bite. Has to start

Knocky 7 - Some good runs, provided some creativity, didn't do much wrong

Bissouma 7 - See Knocky

Manager 5 - What was he thinking putting Gross on the wing?! Very negative tactics from the word Go again, which nearly cost us. Clearly saw it was not working, so changed it up, but still needs to be moved on in the summer, but we know he won't be

Overall 6 - A good result considering the state of play at HT, but could've and should've been more. That first half was unacceptable and needs to be consigned to the bin of history forever

Sussex but not by the sea
Ryan - 6 - Actually nothing to do.
Bruno - 6 - His experience was important. He is the main reason I’m bothering to go to the City game. Deserves the ovation he will get.
Duffy - 4 - Worst game of the season from Shane. Terrible passing, WTF was that attempted tackle in the first half on the edge of our box? Heading also awful by his standards.
Dunk - 7 - An absolutely leader. Pushed us up 2nd half.
Bernardo - 6 - Very good player but made mistakes today. Will get better though and I think we might struggle to keep him after next season.
Gross - 6 - Made up of a 4 and an 8 each half. If anyone wants proof of the foolish tactics and formation ala CH then watch these 2 halves. An absolute mystery that when played as a wide right in the FH he was woeful, then as a no 10 in the SH he looks composed, dangerous, effects the game, oh and scores. Jesus wept.
Kayal - 5 - I can see why he doesn’t force his way in, he’s a bit lazy. Hardly did anything and Bissouma was a breath of fresh air. Sadly probably just his played his last game for us.
Stephens - 6 - same as Gross a 4 and an 8. He CAN DO IT. It’s the tactics FFS.
Izzy - 3 - Awful. I’d sell him if anyone would take him, there’s MILES better out there.
Andone - 6 - The one player who looked to have a spark in the first half, has to cut these yellows out though as they are going to cost him any chance of nailing down a regular start.
Murray - 7- Should have been an 8 Glenn FFS! Never stopped running to be fair, looked reborn with Gross playing off him again 2nd half.

March - 8 - MOTM. Superb. Newcastle could not cope with him. We will not keep him much longer. If Hughton continues to fail to start him then he should lose his job on that fact alone.
Bissouma - 7 - Huge upgrade on Kayal. He is so POSITIVE and it’s infectious to others. If he would be allowed to run beyond the striker he would be a real threat.
Knockaert - 7 - Annoyed me that this meant March had to go left. Did well though.

CH - 4 - It was a zero for the first half debacle. He lost me a bit today.

harsh ratings for Izzy, think he cares and put effort in even if the forward product is lacking. wasnt the worse player today, which was either Gros, Andone, or Kayal first half.

Ryan 6 - Did nothing wrong; solid.

Bruno 6 - Stepped up in the 2nd half and controlled everything flung at our right side.

Dunk 6 - Really sold. A few brilliant interceptions.

Duffy 6 - As good as Dunk.

Bernardo 7 - There was something in the air tonight........

Kayal 5 - As bad as he was good.

Stephens 6 - Awful 1st half - very good 2nd!

Gross 6 - All marks are for scoring the goal, did not do a lot else.

Izquierdo 3 - A brilliant footballer who should not be any where near the squad through injury and form.

Murray 6 - He could have been the hero! Oh Glenn!

Andone 6 - Went for it too hard in the 1st half.

SUBS

Solly 8. MOTM - Changed our whole attacking philosophy!

Knocky 7 - Helped change our tempo.

Bissouma 7 -Better than Kayal.

So made up for March today. For all the millions of pounds spent on players from all over the world it took a kid from Eastbourne to turn the tide and basically save the season.

Ryan - 6
Bruno - 7 class
Bernardo - 7 bright
Dunk - 6 ok
Duffy - 6 please stop the hoofing
Izquierdo - 4 terrible
Stephens - 5 at heart of everything bad we do
Kayal - 5 a big hero of mine but not at races
Gross - 5 - a limited player in decline
Andone - 6 our best threat in first half
Murray - 5 - legs gone, surviving on muscle memory

March - 8 excellent
Bissouma - 7 our best midfielder now
Knockaert - 7 same class as Bruno

Hughton 5 screwed up selection again

The first half was a major embarrassment. the second half a lot better, but there's a lot wrong with the club at the moment if we're producing the kind of crap we were offered in the first 45 minutes.

Ryan 6. OK, but one shot in the second half where he looked to be way out of position.
Bruno 7. The guy's such a classy footballer. Wish he was 10 years younger.
Duffy 5. Not one of his better games.
Dunk 7. Ditto, but better than Duffy.
Bernardo 8. Played well, even in the first half.
Kayal 2. Awful. All aspects of his game were very poor. Showed those calling for his recall to the starting line-up why he's just not up to it.
Stephens 5. Crap first half, much improved second.
Gross 5. First half an embarrassment. Maybe he was being played out of position, but he's a professional footballer. Second half better, but no way MOM.
Izquierdo 3. Hardly touched the ball in the first half. Poor second half until subbed. If he's not fir why was he starting? Makes no sense whatsoever.
Andone 5. Why play a striker on the wing when we have wingers on the bench? Not impressed today and another yellow.
Murray 5. His touch seemed to have deserted him. Thanks for everything Glenn, but I think it's goodbye.

Subs:
March 8. Changed the game as soon as he came on. Why didn't he start? MOM.
Bissouma 6. Big improvement over Kayal, but has played better.
Knockaert 6. Usual Knocky, some good, some not so good. But his introduction meant March switching to the left where he was not as effective.

Manager 3. Bizarre line-up. Obviously unable to motivate the players. He's got to go. He's done all he can for this club. Thanks a lot Chris. Now we need a change.

he was totally shit today, fell over his own shoelaces twice...... that's a fair assessment of today's performance.

Clearly there's a good player in there though, we've seem him. What is up with him that he's not a fraction of the player we saw last season, is the question?

here's hoping he rediscovers the form he showed last season

Absolutely amazing that noone else (including our coaching staff) saw Kayal tweak his hamstring after 15 minutes. He should have been replaced and that was why he was poor. WTF do the medical team do?

.

Jesus Christ, have a word with yourself. We look safe-ish and the Premier League title could well be decided on that day, as it stands we could go down. Not saying you haven't supported the Albion for ages (going by your join date) but really?

Ryan 6
Bruno 7
Bernardo 7
Dunk 7
Duffy 7
Izquierdo 3 - Had enough when he couldn't even head it in a straight line down the touchline.
Stephens 7 - Awful first, Excellent second.
Gross 7 - Awful first. Excellent second.
Kayal 2 - Looked lost chasing shadows and repeatedly handed them possession.
Andone 5 - Positionally suspect, not sure he knew where he was supposed to be in or out of possession. Feisty as usual.
Murray 6 - That miss nullified his good work for the assist. His first touch seems to have abandoned him.

March 8(MotM) - Lifted the crowd and changed the game. Still indecisive and leaves it too long at times but time to learn.
Bissouma 7 - Him and Stephens started passing through them with ease by the end of the game.
Knockaert 7 - Great cross for what should have been the winner.

Looking over the above, makes you wonder what could have been if we had started with the substitutes.
