That place really is football porn. Magnificent stadium, I really can’t see how you can improve on that. So many other big stadia have weak points, but well done THFC, your new home is just top drawer. Public transport post match was dreadful, but I gather they are still working on that.

Well played tonight Albion, gutted we didn’t hang on, but a superb effort.

I thought it was much better than the London stadium, the Emirates and the Etihad .

Very good wifi.

That end opposite to us was very impressive. Good atmosphere as well.

Walked down from the Sisters and back to the Hale - transport was fine on LUL

We walked northbound to Silver Street, train to Enfield Town, and then 90 minutes drive north, as M1 was shut from 11 to 13. Got home at 12.30am, so not too bad, all things considered.

The only downside would be in you suffer from vertigo given the height and stepness of the top of the upper tiers

Sure everything was 'nice' but personally think grounds like that are too big..I would hate to be a season ticket holder in that last row of that stand stand that was opposite us. I also think a few shelves to put your pint on while eating your pie would be a good idea....

They werent using loud hailers (they were doing this for the home fans) to let fans coming from the direction of the Away end know where to go at White Hart Lane station so a lot were mistakenly queueing in the wrong queue. I walked back to the sisters and still had a fairly long wait before getting to the platform as they were stopping you crossing the road till the lights changed. So they do need to work on it still better than West Ham even for that.

It is very impressive stadium though.

Getting into the stadium was rather a complicated affair. Top notch toilets, which even flushed themselves, and loads of them (take heed, Wolves). Indeed, a very lovely stadium. But I do rather enjoy a good old bit of grot and grime that you get from your traditional stadium. You can't compare the two, really. Transport was fine, no worse than getting away from the Amex.

Tricky to navigate, arrived main entrance and even the police couldn't easily point us in the direction of the away section (11). Had to walk in and out of the dusty bluebells.

Floor too slippery.

Ouch! I’m sure Spurs fans would love to share a ground with Arsenal and vice versa. West Ham and Millwall would get on fine. If we were closer having an Amex style stadium share with Palace would be fabulous. Yes, from an economic point of view you’re bang on. The reality is that football is a parochial affair in this country and YOUR ground is YOUR home, be it a spanking brand new stadium or a crumbling shithole.

Would happily share as long as its was a new ground for both clubs. Though, for us it would never be an option for geographical reasons.

Well, think it was a bit overrated, concourse tiny, Stewards did not have a clue on where the away end was, near Sainsbury someone said. Nice it was based on Selhurst with a Sainsbury’s in the corner. Seats were narrow. Beer loaders kept breaking, still a few issues to sort. Nice large stand. Bit like the Emirates for sterile fans, good noise from us,
but hardly a whimper apart from the Southampton song. 6/10 was expecting more, but I am a miserable old git.
