Good thread.

Interesting list of names.

1. Ronnie

a gap of many, many miles (not Graham)

2. Ding

another mile gap

3. Judd

another few miles

4. Robertson

after that not bothered as either irrelevant or don't like them.

The draw has been made!

A good draw for the Rocket, although the Kings Nephew will be no walkover. Standout tie for me though is Ball Run v The Pocket Dynamo. THe reigning champion won't find it east either against the Pinner Potter.

Standout ties in bold.

* Mark 'The Welsh Wonder' Williams v 'The Pinner Potter' Martin Gould

* David 'Gilbo' Gilbert v 'The Gentleman' Joe Perry
*'The Hawk' Barry Hawkins v 'The Crucifier' Li Hang
* Kyren 'The Warrior' Wilson v 'Scotty gone Potty' Scott Donaldson
*'The Wizard of Wishaw' John Higgins v 'The Saint' Mark Davis
'Ball Run'* Stuart Bingham v Graeme 'The Pocket Dynamo' Dott
'The Magician'* Shaun Murphy v Luo 'The Horse' Honghao
'The Thunder from Down Under'* Neil Robertson v 'The Pride of Cyprus' Michael Georgiou
'The Jester from Leicester'* Mark Selby v 'X Factor' Zhao Xintong
The Big Belgian Bullet'* Luca Brecel v 'Sexbomb' Gary Wilson
* 'Jackpot' Jack Lisowski v 'The Captain' Ali Carter
* Mark ' The Bullet' Allen v 'Chengdou Chalktime' Zhou Yuelong
'Mr Haircut 100'* Judd Trump v 'F One' Thepchaiya Un-Nooh
*'Pot Noodle' Ding Junhui v 'Licensed to Thrill' Anthony McGill
*'On Fire' Stephen Maguire v Tian 'The Penguin' Pengfei
'The Rocket'* Ronnie O'Sullivan v 'The Kings Nephew' James Cahill

I used to quite like snooker but it is now the most tedious, boring sport you could watch, with a bunch of boring players, there is zero fun to it any more.
Occasionally the odd decent match comes along usually involving O Sullivan but that is about it.
The days of White, Higgins, Bill Werberbubble and that bloke that posed naked on the baize have long gone.
It's Rubbish as Crodo well knows.

The Thunder from Down Under probably has the best draw, he avoids The Rocket, The Jester from Leicester and Mr Haircut 100 on his side of the draw.

And they are off.
The excitement is building as 100's of loons decide to spend their Easter on a lovely day sat in the dark watching this borefest.
As usual I watched the tee off and have had enough already.

Huge first-round match for oldest man in the draw Mark Davis under way against the four-time champ John Higgins. The Sussex man has a very good record against Higgins, won 9 of their last 11 including in Crawley this season when the Scot said he just couldn't beat him and might need a mental coach for the job next time. Trails 2-1, in decent shape in frame 4 so far.

Mark Davis hanging in there against John Higgins, playing to a finish this afternoon. First to 10, trails 8-6, but decent chance to close the gap in this frame...

Did Cliff Thorburn win?

Anyone see Sexbomb against the Belgian Bullet last night? Incredible drama, think of the tension at Molineux on Saturday and turn it up to 22. Longest frame in Crucible history for the decider and the rest major shock as the Belgian Bullet dumped out.

Biggest shock in Crucible history on the cards as the Rocket trails 9-8 to the Kings Nephew.

This will send shockwaves through the sporting as well as snooker world if he can pull this off.

First amateur to ever play at the Crucible beats what people consider to be the best player to have played the game.

Unbelievably Jeff.
