Yeah I'm with you on that.

I know that the message from the recent spending tweet thing was supposed to be something like "isn't Hughton doing well being 19th in spend but actually 17th in the table" but I took from it the need to chuck out an extra £20m or so (over and above the normal summer spend) and significantly reduce our chances of wet sheets and squeaky bums in April next year..

I certainly think there's an argument for a smaller trimmer squad with more quality in that first 11, I think we're currently bloated in some areas of plenty of average options rather than 1 or 2 good options.
