Parked here last time. Worked well, 30 min walk or so but right side of the river so meant missing the awful traffic. Appeared pretty secure.

My advice, if you have to drive from the south is park up in Wimbledon Hartfield Road Car Park - Wimbledon, London SW19 3TB, costs about £6, 5 min walk up the high street to Wimbledon station, get the 15min tube ride to Fulham Broadway and jobs a good un.
Getting back worth a wee walk down to Parsons Green Tube as it will be less heaving than Fulham Broadway after the game.

For the future dazzers car park was spot on £7. You can also get bus straight up to ground and back all a piece of wee wee

We got there pretty early (5.30pm) and parked in Darlan Road (only had to pay £2.80 as free from 6.30pm), about a 15 minute walk back towards Fulham. Got away really quickly and were home by 11.15pm.
Suspect we benefited from it being an evening game though with less general traffic.
