Lack of PL quality ‘chickens coming home to roost’. CH has managed to chisel out enough results since August 17, sometimes on a wing and a prayer. But in 2019 we’re finally seeing this our lack of quality with clarity. We have no PL quality centre midfielders with pace and guile. We very rarely control games.

Guardiola, Pochettino etc have nowt to fear with our squad.

Just hoping now that Cardiff are even more shite than us.

Quality comes at a very high price , & then is not guaranteed just look at Fulham's spending compared to results.

I understand the clubs financial plans of not spending what it cant afford and not over paying for players so in that respect we have probably got the best we can afford whether you class that as prem quality or not its what the club can afford.

There maybe be the occasional gem at a cut price but factor in the home grown quota and the overall budget wont get you much.

Everybody seemed to think at the start of the season the squad was as strong as it's ever been. Too much quantity over quality?

Not about quality today, it was all about disgusting, negative tactics. Start of the second half was ridiculous, there was absolutely no intent or aim to go forward and even try to win the game. CH at blame today, tried to be negative and play for 0-0 and got what we deserved for such tactics at home against a team below us in the league.

It’s the tactics imo, the players seem scared to attack other teams except on the counter or when we are behind. How many times have we taken the game to the opposition from the kick off in home games this season?

We had good enough players out there to win that match. Even by his standards, Hughton was ridiculously negative from the start today. Playing for a 0-0 against a ream below you in the league is almost unforgivable.

We were poor today to many players Not at the races
Personally as a team we are not proactive enough we have allowed teams to dictate to much. Even the 3 wins on the bounce we have not played well. Today no different. Murray isolated early. Movement non exsistant and we wait till they score to react to some extent.
Quality is something you build year on year but this year the players we spend the money on have not impacted as much as last years.

Unfortunately, we are not privvy to any X year plan from the club. However, and to this point, everything has slotted into place like a nice jigsaw puzzle. But where are we going from here? Just struggling year upon year until our luck runs out? Or are we looking to solidify our place within the elite? I genuinely feel, possibly with tears, that hard decisions need to be made at the club, maybe even this summer. But who knows? None of us sadly.
