The first sighting of our annual Romany visitors arriving from over the sea can now be reported as they have broken into the partially hidden patch of green, or"campsite", at the top of Wilson Avenue adjacent to the racecourse. Like the cuckoo, primroses, bluebells, daffodils, trees bursting into bloom, territorial birdsong, Albion's inevitable tilt with either promotion or relegation etc etc their timely appearance surely heralds the arrival of spring and a summer of sightings all over Brighton and Hove?
