What sort of money does a 1901 licence/membership go for?

I think they were £500 for 5 years or £1000 for life when the club originally sold them (plus the 5 year season ticket charge obviously)

Both plus VAT...

I’ve bought and sold one privately and bought two from the club mid way through a five year cycle. In all cases, the lifetime one has transferred hands @£1k plus VAT, and the 5 year one at £500 + VAT, pro rata to the period left. ie no profit or loss.

However, I’ve heard that others have transferred for less and more...

Edit: thinking about it, singles are harder to shift than pairs, and this has been reflected in the prices achieved by others...
