Had anyone heard of a "super worm moon" before?

In the last year or so, the BBC have become obsessed with any time the moon looks a bit bigger than usual. It's not even rare - it's the third one already this year, but also the last.

And of course, they have to illustrate it with unrealistic photos taken with enormous lenses. (Should that be "super worm lenses"?)

If it really looked anything like this, I'd get excited:

They're just making up names for full moons now, a bit like storms now apparently need names

My surname is Moon, I'd be delighted if they used my first name every March, but my parents never called me "Super Worm" :moo:n

Brighton. NOT KEMPTOWN!
I thought a Super Worm Moon was when you took you trousers and pants down and showed your frontage?
It used to be called "Flashing"?

What exactly is a super worm moon(in the lunar rather than flashing sense)?

I've just popped outside to have a look. It doesn't look any different to usual. Possibly a bit brighter but I'm not convinced.
