Had a quick skim through the likely threads and haven’t seen it; apologies if I’ve missed it.

What a man. Well done, Tony - enjoy your day out at Wembley; never has it more deserved for any chairman (Excepting Dave Whelan, obviously...).

We are so, so f***ing lucky to have him as Chairman.

Pleased that he did, a true fan.

But I thought there was an unwritten code that Directors had to hide all that from the other club’s directors, out of respect? (Wigan @ home, apart)

To be fair, he did wait until the ‘Wall Directors had skulked off back to the Boardroom. I’m quite certain that was deliberate politeness on his part. Oh yes, indeed.

I find that code a bit anal anyway, as with Wknr Warnock’s code that opposing managers shouldn’t passionately celebrate a goal.
