[Albion] Players walking a tightrope on Sunday?

Any players walking a tightrope if they are booked on Sunday?

Bissouma picked up his second yellow in the competition v Derby which is why he's suspended. Are there any other players on one yellow cup card who would miss out on a semi final if they picked up a card on Sunday?

The Argus report is wrong.

All yellow cards are wiped after the quarter finals.

In addition, no one will be suspended from the final as a result of accumulated yellow cards. So no Steve Foster situation.

But not suspensions, so if any of the 3 listed above get a yellow on Sunday they will miss the semi final

.................is the correct answer

Is exactly the wrong answer.

the Argus have it spot on. Any 'unserved' cards are wiped after the QF - i.e. anybody on one card, including one picked up on Sunday, goes into a SF with a clean slate (and thus cannot pick up a Final ban with another yellow in the SF).

They are right that a yellow on Sunday for one of the three named WOULD see them miss the SF.

You're right....

Presumably if someone gets two yellows in the QF it counts as a Red, and the one match ban would apply to the next PL game not the cup ?

Not sure about that tbh, but Zaha got two yellows in a PL game (SFC) and missed their Cup match, so probably that is the case.

Yep - the competition-specific change this season relates only to (single) cautions. Where a player gets sent-off (either through two yellows or a straight red) the suspension applies to League/FA Cup/Carabao Cup.
