Not been to Reading but Glastonbury was cool in the 70's and early 80's.

I bet you thought “that’s not singing, he’s just talking” during Stormzy’s set?

And them DJs, all they’re doing is playing other people’s records.

There's always a good percentage of people who believe everything was better in their day. You see it when people discuss Brighton now compared to 'back in my day', as another example. They forget that the world through a youngster's eyes is very different to the world through a grumpy middle aged b*stard's eyes.

I imagine today’s Glastonbury is bigger, better organised and more controlled. I went to most Glastonbury’s over a 10 year period from the early/mid 80’s. The fondest memories are the early ones which were a week long pilgrimage starting off at a free for all at Stonehenge where I recall Hawkwind were regulars.

Not sure about Tim's look :) ( each to their own ) but they sounded great on TV.
Did you see Beckham watching?

Terrible look, can’t help thinking his Barnet looks like a bellend, speaking of which no I didn’t see Beckham.

:)
Beckham was watching The Charlatans from what looked like a raised area at the side of the stage, definitely looked like he was enjoying them.

Who are you seeing today?

One thing I've always been curious about in the 21 years since I've been to Glastonbury is whether the only way in is with a ticket. What is security like these days? The first year in 94 we bought a ticket because we thought we had to. The next year we jumped the fence about a few hundred metres from where several hundred people were in the process of ripping it down. The last two years we paid corrupt stewards £15 each to give us a stamp as if we'd already been in and then returned to the car. It's always been the assumption that it's not possible now but they used to dig tunnels under the fence fcs. Tickets sell out so quickly that there must still be schemes going on to get into the festival

Disappointed with recap coverage at midnight last night.

Only a handful of sets available (now expanded overnight).

No option to rewind live coverage?

Red button on TV said “Choose acts” and there were NONE. Just one channel showing highlights.

Tsk!

Apols !
There are 35 sets available now via (they have to be edited, complied and published but team do it as quick as possible) https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episodes/b007r6vx/glastonbury?seriesId=b007r6vx-yesterday
Rewinding live coverage on iPlayer - depends on how you're watching (app, desktop etc).
Today BBC is streaming live another 35 acts or so. No need to watch recap if thats not your thing.

No need to apologise. Tried numerous platforms.

Would have thought post-pub audience was reasonably large?

Do you know if/when Aurora’s set will be up?
