For those au fait with visiting The Den using trains from Brighton, what’s the recommended route for away fans this Sunday, please?

From London Bridge to South Bermondsey station?
What day of the week is Sinday ?

Bridge to Sth Bermondsey, long wait to get home, though, as the yobs need to be cleared away

EDIT: SINDAY NOTED.

Travelling from Horsham l would take a direct train to New Cross Gate, (just a ten min stroll from there), otherwiseto get to Bermondsey station l would have to go into London Bridge, then change trains, just to travel one stop.

The one possible problem with this, is that in the past away fans have been held back in the ground after the game, and then frogmarched to Bermondesey station by the police, whether you want to go there or not!

Why would you use Bermondsey which is further away from the ground than South Bermondsey. Also I can never recall being frogmarched to Bermondsey station by the Police.

I think the home supporters are held back now. The away supporters are normally cleared before the 'yobs' are given access to the station.

Apologies, l meant South Bermondsey, anyway it would still mean l needed to change at London Bridge if l wanted to go there. I have been to the New Den several times in recent years, and each time we were escorted back to South Bermondsey after the game.

In recent years you would have been funneled through the metal cage "Cowards Way" straight from the away end to the steps at the bottom of the platform. Hardly escorted in the normal way?
