Not quite sure how thats even possible, every Forklift I've ever driven is only operational once there is weight applied to the seat.
How long until we get the club email banning fans from bringing forklifts into the Amex?

Forklifts are fine as a counterbalance to flasks.

They use two of them at a time to get the new struts into position to be lowered down for welding into place. My guess (as they are being a bit vague about what happened) is that they moved them forward to get the strut into position to be lowered down and (with the drivers out luckily) some extra weight as they were about to move it caused everything to overbalance and strut + forklifts to fall into the sea.
