The International FA Board have introduced changes for next season, as attached.

What do people think of this? I can see that ‘natural silhoutte’ idea being an absolute minefield and solving nothing.

Anybody care enough to google what OP is banging on about? There's somthing called IFAB? Who knew? Is this a Handball thing? Is that the daft thing they love in Europe where you basically just throw the ball in a tiny wee net?

IFAB is the body in world football which creates and administers the Laws of the Game, and has done since 1886.

Yes. And it is actually quite interesting.

Accidental handball resulting in a goal or clear chance will now be penalised as if it were deliberate. The natural silhouette thing will just led to more talk and varied interpretations I suspect....

So if an attacker deflects the ball in the net with his hand it will be disallowed. What if a defender does the same into his own net?

Are they just trying to find reasons for disallowing goals?

And what about no attackers being allowed in the defensive wall? CAn they form their own wall in front of the defensive wall?
