I do like to spot a bit of nominative determinism at work and spotted this in the press today:
“Andy Drinkwater - lead engineer at the Water Research Centre” :)

Do your best NSC - including reverse nominative determinism too

I once had to ring up a plus-size bra company and speak to the press officer - one Ms Bosomworth

I was also once operated on by a surgeon called Mr Shearer

An old acquaintance of mine used to work for Rowse Honey in the warehouse. When taking deliveries he sometimes used to sign as 'B. Keeper' :lolol:

Hardly anyone noticed, and it was a made up name.. so probably doesn't count.

My wife is a nurse, and one of the Doctors at her hospital was a 'Doctor De'Ath'. That's 100% true by the way.

I used to work for an Islamic Insurance company (insurance as it is traded in the UK is haram so sharia compliant companies fill the gap).
It was a new start up and our initial customer service team was to be 12 people, 11 staff + a team leader.

After all the interviews we ended up with 11 [muslim] staff and a team leader who happened to be non-muslim, but "unfortunately" his first name was Christian... giving the team a slightly odd outward appearance.

I went out with a Dr. Slaughter for a while. I remember for some reason, she used to make the most fantastic peach drink, like juice/lemoade with peaches.

PC Rob Banks was the best police officers name I have ever heard, sort of inverse ND. Genuine name too.
