The Dirt is an upcoming American biographical musical comedy-drama film directed by Jeff Tremaine from a screenplay by Rich Wilkes, about glam metal band Mötley Crüe. It is scheduled to be released on March 22, 2019.

Watched it last night, it really was sex, drugs and rock and roll. The scene at the party right at the beginning is not your usual start to a film.

This looks like fun.

I never had much time for their headline chaos over the years, but discovered My Favourite Riff with Nikki Sixx on Youtube recently, and a more thoughtful, chilled, concisely-spoken, rock 'n roll vibed dude you could not find - very surprising! Well worth moments of your time if you're interested in him chatting to the likes of Slash and James Hetfield, about their music and influences. Really interesting stuff. They also swap stories from their heydays and it leaves you wondering how he and most of his guests are still alive!
