I always preferred the control bus to the data bus. Width bandwidth, fast speed and not really a depot at all is the best option.

Expert? No more so than you, I suspect. I've just never experienced a bus station that I'd want to go to unless I absolutely had no choice, and no option of using a different mode of transport!

Was going to suggest Lewes, but that is more of a bus station and I don't think any buses are housed there. Having said that was in Lewes today and, due to the large number of vehicles being deployed because of the Brighton Line closure, there were a large number of buses dotted around in strange places.
When I was growing up in the 70’s, our local buses terminated in Pool Valley, and had done for many a year.
The coach station idea was more recent.

Luxton & District bus depot always looked a great fun place to work, winding up the inspector, lots of jolly japes and shagging all the mini skirted clippies.
