Fair point, its a rich mans toy for now. But its a first addition. Once it gets copied by other manufacturers, the hybrid folding phone/tablet could well become the norm.

I rather like it as a piece of design but I can't see what real improvement it would bring to my life. Interesting development though, the folding screen.

Samsung are just one of many other manufacturers working on a foldable phone, it is not by any means a unique innovation. These have been in development for years. It just appears that Samsung may be first to commercially launch a product.
