Sky linking Frank Lampards Derby County manager Frank Lampard with possibly becoming Frank Lampards Chelsea manager. Where would this leave Frank Lampards Derby County on the club name front? Would it be easier to become Zinedine Zedans Chelsea? Where do all parties even start?

Lampard is in his first management job, Chelsea have had 7 permanent managers in less than 8 years. Common sense dictates he'll learn his craft at Derby, but this is football...

Chelsea football at that... i dont see it for a moment, journo headline inventions. id go as far to say he'd not want it at this stage, for what few months glory, tricky next season and ending sour when it fizzles out?

He should stay at Frank Lampard’s Derby. The formula probably won’t work elsewhere.

It’s a bit like ‘Bruce Forsyth’s Play Your Cards Right’ which was of course a phenomenal and long-running hit game show. But how many of us remember ‘Bruce Forsyth’s Blow Your Tits Up’ ? ???

They would remain Frank Lampards Derby... unless they replace him with Alan Pardew and then they'll be known as Tw*t's!

It might be ex Frank Lampards Derby if they keep losing like tonight

#TheDerbyWay

Isn't "The Derby Way" was to have a great first half of the season and then see it dramatically fall part post Christmas? Good to see him sticking to tradition anyhow.

I hope he stays at Derby and does well. We need good young english managers to stay out of the Sky Sports studios just taking the easy money talking a good game, to go out and make a name for themselves cutting their teeth in management. Derby aren't known for showing patience, but he's a big enough name there to hopefully be given some time, even if it doesn't pan out this season.

If he went to Chelsea he'd be lucky to get 12 months.

I hope Chelsea implode. They're a horrible club with a c*nt of a chairman and they treat people like sh1t.

Yes, it's our moniker, not theirs. Even our message board changed names to FLDC FFS, we OWN it :)

Pete & Dud in the guise of Derek & Clive. Brilliant stuff.

The "perennial bottlers" are going for it again; they don't like breaking with tradition.
