An away draw at the Etihad, so we can field an under strength side, lose heroically, and then get on with the only important thing, securing enough points to ensure our Premier League survival for another season.

For me, continued involvment in the FA Cup, is threatening to derail our season.

FA cup derail?

Us not scoring when on top in games is doing that. Us not playing consistently for 90+ minutes each game is doing that. Playing the odd game with a mixture of squad players u23’s and first teamers is not going to make a jot of difference

The most curious thing..
Is anyone else thinking of a 1983 repeat experience [emoji33][emoji33][emoji33]

We will get Man City. Palace will get Brentford or Millwall at home. Standard.

It is however going to mean we have to postpone league games, so it could cocievably mean a fixture pile up at the end of the season, Something that we most definately do not want.

I'm very sorry, but for me the FA Cup is a mere sideshow at the moment.
