It's most unlike a certain poster to be negative about Albion players.
If only they played for Spurs.

Obviously you trying and yet once again failing to be humorous or sarcastic If I was you I should give up trying as you are failing miserably.

As I have said many times I like Bissouma and think that he has great potential but cannot continue with this 'he is young' line of defence for his shortcomings and would cite both Guendouzi or Arsenal, Foden of Man City both younger than Yves and Loftus-Cheek of Chelsea, 6 months older of examples of players that are young but can perform at the top level.

Not sure away at Newport is performing at the top level. The fourth to be precise

Bissoumas real ability is in the speed of his transition. When he wins the ball and brings it forward he seems to get from our box to the opposition box very, very. quickly. I think for this reason he doesn't really affect a game so much when he plays as a number 10. I know we have tried and failed with it before but I really think 3 at the back would suit us now and provide a platform for Bissouma in CM by allowing us to play 3 in there. Not that I think it'll happen and given our league position it probably shouldn't before the summer. It would also suit Bernardo and given our recent weakenss with set peices another CD wouldn't go amiss.

March has also started as a number 10.....

Yes, but he hasn't done so since about October. He's played on the wing since then, mostly on the right. So if Bissouma were to currently replace March -- which is one of the two options you've proposed -- then he'd be playing on the wing. Is this so difficult to understand?

When during a game that he came on is immaterial as he still played against top teams and he is only 18 years old,or do we discount Gyokeres, Kayal, Knockaerts sub appearances.

Players develop at different rates. Owen, Rooney and Gerrard were stars by 18, Beckham went out briefly on loan to Preston before establishing himself at 20 in the Man team, Kane after several loans became a Spuds regular selection at 21.

I totally agree but making the point that the argument when he makes a mistake ' that he is young' doesnt wash with me.

BG is right though because I don't remember what the scores were when Foden came on.

For example City might have only been 1-0 up v Burton with 30 mins to go before running up a further 8 goals.

Much the same could be said about the games v Burnley, Huddersfield, Cardiff & West Ham.
Not to mention the less than a minute performances against Lyon & Utd.

I think it depends on the nature of the ‘mistake’. If it is deficiencies in technique I might agree to some extent. But it is very, very clear that Bissouma’s main definciency is poor decision-making. That is something that unquestionably improves with experience and game time.

and when you were learning the skills of your trade as a young kid you never made a howler? and if you did would you just expect people straight on your back, or as most sensible onlookers would do would be to think and accept its all part of the growing experience.

Experienced players make fewer mistakes, but experienced players have learned from the mistakes they made. If you don’t make mistakes along the way then your playing in a comfort zone bubble. But perhaps BG you were born fully experienced.

I don’t think it’s a wild assumption, to guess that BG has always known it all, tbh.

Everybody has to learn but as I have pointed out he does some phenomenal things then compounds them by mistakes straight afterwards and I do not think that 22 is young in terms of footballers learning their trade , perhaps I am being too hard on him and expect too much from him. I would think that he has probably been a pro longer than Solly March just as an example, although 2 years younger.
