Rather looking forward to plenty of rousing stirring music next month at this years Classical Spectacular at The Royal Albert Hall. Birthday present from Mrs P

Have a great time. Excellent and love it. We had seats in the gods last time we went and when the 1812 Overture was played I am sure the cannons parted my hair!!:lolol:

Hither (sometimes Thither)
Anything by the band Spoon.
Hilarious, eh.

I had a small tear or 9 when watching the New Pornographers a couple of years ago singing Adventures in Solitude. Jesus, the tearducts are unnaturally damp listening to the song now.

Ex Matelot so this strikes a chord for me. Also one of the hymns at our wedding, the vicar said no one would know the words...little did he know that my Mum was teaching all my biker mates the words at rallies before hand...lol....

Same as me with that one
Reminds me of my passing out parade at Ganges on 74 and when my lad passed out at Raliegh all those years later I couldn't be prouder or stop blubbering !!

Also I will throw in Jerusalem when it's sung by everyone at the annual Army v Navy game at Twickenham
