Got a text message last week from my bank saying possible fraud on my account. Ignored it. Got a call a few hours later from my bank saying the same thing. Was genuine text, apparently card details been pilfered.
Great work by Lloyds fraud team, cottoned onto the unusual activity immediately and stopped the card.

Switched energy suppliers recently after being ripped off by E-on. Got an email last week about a refund of £367 that we were due from them. I had about 30 seconds of "get in!" before logic took over and I checked the email address......
They clearly got the information from somewhere though, otherwise it's a massive coincidence.
The HMRC ones are all scams btw. HMRC are in the dark ages and won't even use email for most things. I probably get one client a week asking me if "this email/text I got about a refund" is legit. You'd get a letter.

I had an email from the Albion asking me for even more money to watch an infererior product to last season. As if anyone would fall for that.

I'm getting loads about TV licence and my Direct Debit not being collected...apparently my TV service is about to be disconnected as a result....now that would be clever!

Be very careful with BT ones folks, you get a fake bill with a high number to shock you, and they send a link to say your bill is ready, just wants to grab your password (which many use for other things too)

And if they're that good, why not just get my banking passwords and fill their boots? And I only use an external drive that is encrypted.
Had two of these in the past two months. The other said it would photoshop my head onto a pic of someone watching child porn, kind of wondered how they could do that?
Anyway both were 48 hour demands, both expired. They were the menacing ones in the many I recieve including HMRC and BT.
Hope this helps anyone that gets a bit worried.

аftеr that, mу sоftware prоgram obtainеd аll оf уоur соntaсts аnd files.
You еntered a pаsswords on the wеbsites yоu visitеd, and I interceptеd it.
Of cоurse уоu can will сhаnge it, or аlready сhаngеd it.
But it dоesn't mаttеr, my mаlwаrе updаtеd it еvеry time.

I сrеatеd а double-screеn videо. 1st part shows thе video уou werе wаtсhing (уоu've got а good tаstе hаha . . .), and 2nd pаrt shоws thе rеcоrding of уour wеb cаm.
Dо nоt try tо find аnd destrоу mу virus! (All уоur dаta is alreаdу uploadеd to a rеmote server)
