Not sure about that. Nearly cost us the game, and place in the next round. Would you be so pleased if he'd been sent off?

I would have been very disappointed if he'd been sent off. The larger issue is quite nuanced though, as I think my post shows. I'm sure I don't need to elaborate

Yep, Bissouma is an uncut diamond. IMO, he has the potential to be one of the best midfielders we've ever seen at the club, but then after Ipswich you could have said the same thing about Abdul Razak. I think with time on his side, if he can improve his decision-making and shooting, he could be outstanding, but for now he's well behind Propper and Groß, both of whom do the uncomplicated basics exceptionally well. Groß has by far the best delivery at the club and we all saw exactly what Propper offers when he came on yesterday - he just effortlessly ran the game (admittedly against tiring lower standard opponents).

Never a truer word said. Propper came on and made everyone else, ( including Bissouma ) look very mediocre last night - But Bissouma is a very different type and style of player - Bissouma can drive forward and past players with the ball at his fee. Something Propper cant really do. I think its good to have the two different types because there will be instances against some opposition when you need a Davy Propper and some instances when you need an Yves Bissouma

Laughable to suggest the referee didn't see it - watch the footage and he is clearly looking directly at the players involved, about ten yards away.

He'll get a ban though for sure. Nailed on.

Makes Mings getting away with his GBH stamp all the more galling

A silly, petulant flash of temper to get his own back after his face was groped. Assuming there's no Zaha-style frivolous appeal, I guess thats Burnley (H) Derby (H) Leicester (A) he's out of. Hope Murray stays fit, or we're really scratching around for options.

Worse than the Mings incident because he can and did argue that he didnt know where he put his foot down, Whether you believe that or not is another matter but Andone was so obviously deliberate.

six feet beneath the moon...
Such a stupid thing to do. Though being a nasty shitehouser appears to be a good quality of his, there was no need for an elbow there whatsoever. Completely pointless suspension that leaves us looking rather thin up top

Looked more like he was trying to push the player away from him and was a natural movement. If someone is all over you what other body movement can you do to get them off? If he looked around and aimed his elbow at him then it could be argued as deliberate.

blue and white specs i'm afraid.

From the next game (ie immediately).

So if it’s three games no point in being clever and appealing it would mean play in Burnley game then missing terriers game with the threat of an extra game then . Unlike Tom Daley who’s going to use the one game to there advantage

Puts us in the shite with good old muzza. And locadia to carry us through
When would the ban start ?

I’d be interested in seeing Locadia as the main striker, which I believe is his preferred position? Maybe against Derby as GM is sure to start against Burnley, as he would have done anyway I think.
