As much as NSC makes you worry about people, the phone-in's been off the scale in the last 20 minutes.

Some angel suggested we should stop paying Iz and AJ. Then they just found someone at the ground who said they could remember the last time we were in the FA Cup - losing the first game was bad but losing the replay was even worse.

junior has a right to an opinion, right or wrong. The idiots that abuse his comments are just that. If you have nothing decent to say just don't message back.

Personally disagree because, as has been said, Hughton has every right to prove himself at our club. We certainly can be to defensive but I haven't witnessed it this week in our two games. We were unlucky today, Foster was by far the man of the match. Happy to grab a point, bottom three still look nailed on, so not unhappy.

The problem is idiots see Wolves doing really well this season and expect Brighton to be 7th.

Ignoring the dodgy dealings, cheating and money spent on players and wages.

Can't say I'm warming to Star Trek: Discovery on Netflix, even though it's in its second season.

Yes, of course he has. But it's not an opinion, it's a monotonous wind-up.

Or, just maybe, applaud the way they play and how well they have done this season. I know you can, it is possible. Great manager.

Can't say I'm warming to Star Trek: Discovery on Netflix, even though it's in its second season.

I'm enjoying S2 more than I did S1 so far - I liked Jason Isaacs as Lorca but Anson Mount as Pike is a big step up for me.

This season feels much more like "traditional" Star Trek to me, and that's definitely a good thing. It'll be interesting to see who/what the Red Angel turns out to be - I have a theory, but as has been said this is a show that loves a twist.

Yes - but the lack of goals was not because of being boring/defensive/uncreative. Two top saves from Foster, and an off-the-line clearance from him as well.

I suspect the OP wasn’t there so can’t comment.

As for Netflix

Sex Education
Odark
The Sinner...all good.

Always enjoyed Star Trek without loyally watching, so not sure if correct:

But I wonder if some don’t like it as it’s just one long story rather than a different story every week.

I think that's an element of it, but this season seems to have struck a better balance than last season did in terms of still having the over-arcing story (Red Angel/Red Bursts/Spock etc...) going on, but also telling stronger individual stories in each episode.

The thing with Star Trek is that there is an element of the fanbase which will always react negatively to anything new and complain that it "isn't proper Star Trek", especially when it's something like Discovery where there is an overlap with characters we've seen before such as Pike and Spock.

Much as I am enjoying Discovery, what I'm really looking forward to is Patrick Stewart playing Picard again in a whole new show later this year.

Is it time for Hughton to step down?

When he was given the job i remember fans of other teams he'd managed saying that he was a boring/defensive/uncreative manager.

He's done a good job getting us to where we are now, but i can't ever see him being able to kick on as he is incapable of putting a team out to win a game, seeming rather to favour the defensive, pass it backwards and sideways shit that we are being served up at the moment.

I feel we should have sacked him and gone for Ranieri when he was available, or perhaps Pardew or Hughes if they'd want the job.

Behave.
