Forty years ago today Sid was making the headlines. A sad end to a wild few years. If you have read and watched all the books and documentaries about this fella you will know he was actually a pretty good guy before the drugs and that woman! The only one of the band I never got to meet.

Rap music seems very popular these days, especially something called Grime music, all shite IMO though.

Punk was much better

I guess both genres share similarities. Angry, bad attitude, bad arse icons and image based influences

Neither my cup of tea but each to there own.

Seem to remember these lot being on stage down the top rank suite (that's what it was called then ) must of been the early 80s , still whistle it now and then , not sure why just one of those catchy tunes i suppose .
