It is a bit of a daft table, given that it is calculated only on transfer fees paid.

Thus Wolves' 'pp£' looks great as it ignores half a team of Portuguese internationals on massive wages.

It's interesting but would be more interesting with wages taken into account. However if a club survives in the PL and isn't making a loss then it soon becomes irrelevant.
