Yes. But what I was alluding to is that nationalism in Germany...Europe’s biggest economy is likely to cause irreparable damage to the cosy club of liberal non elected dolts in Brussels.

Germans are getting pissed off big time and the tendency to hide ethnicity when rapes and child abuse is wearing thin. I was in Frankfurt and Heidelberg recently with my German team and they are soooo pissed off with Mosques all over the shop and theiving “refugees” shoplifting and begging in their streets.

i would say it is to be expected when the people are shat upon by their governments......the pork barrelling , trough grovellers need a wake up , clearly not going to come from the down trodden Brit who risks being called a far right bigot for complaining about plummeting living standards and the general squalor that goes with mass immigration.

“Liberal”? Several EU governments are right wing eg Italy, France, Austria. Very pro business and wealthy agendas, with anti immigration and Eurosceptic governments in several nations.

Look beyond the UK media’s false impression of 27 liberal EU governments, all getting on famously, with the lone conservative voice of the UK. The EU are dealing with major schisms, their political life really isn’t dominating day to day business on the continent.

i'm arguing the other side of the coin mate , people i'm describing as melts are the ones who are denying that Europe on the whole is going to be in a spot of bother in a few years if the immigration/ refugee issue isn't addressed very soon.

I realised you meant exactly that.

What I meant was that those “melts”, IMO, mentioned this Holocaust thing in good faith, rather than it being one of their cryptic attacks on Brexiteers. I hope.

Then I widened the discussion, to the ironic (and frighteningly) phenomena that some lefties and hard right are anti semetic in the UK. So there can be no moral high ground on the subject from either extreme.

well yes .....so the melts are presenting as anti-Semitic with their "why can't we all just get along " stance when , clearly , we can't ........address one issue another one arrises immediately it would seem , media control/manipulation/suppression is a much larger problem than most will accept.

You quite rightly condemn the Holocaust and in the next post buy into the vilification of an ethnic minority. I find myself wondering of late what certain people would have made of the Jewish refugees in the 1940's or the ones begging for food at the fences of the ghettos.

I'm not vi!ifying anyone. You can check the crime stats yourself. People with conservative Muslim backgrounds arriving in the West where female liberation and things like she of consent are regulated will inevitably cause conflict.

I am warning that German Nationalism does not need this kind of encouragement. For all of Europe's same there must be a cessation in this idea of open borders being the way to go.

That conversation would be short and result in a punch on the nose for somebody.

The very best Holocaust deniers, academics and such, have largely had their central arguments destroyed as more and more documentary evidence has emerged. As I said earlier even David Irving who was by far the most impressive denier has now conceded that mass murder at Mejdanek, Treblinka and Sobibor alone accounted for 4 million as clearly stated by the pen of Eichmann himself. He still quibbles over Aushwitz as he says that it was not designed as a death camp but a work camp but still concedes over a million deaths there but insists from Typhus, dysentery and starvation rather than deliberate homicide.

Actually I don't think that it's right to stifle Holocaust deniers. I believe in free speech. But I do think that their lies need to be exposed publicly. Their evidence picked apart and their motivation for espousing such views made totally clear. Irving is clearly a national socialist and anti Semite ,(as proved in court) as are the other deniers like Zundel and co. If you just lock them up you make them martyrs to neo Nazis just expose their lies.

I totally respect your opinion on this but it’s arguable that the reaction to immigration and things like using quotations on the word “refugees” that have emboldened and encouraged the far right. Or more likely perhaps a combination of many things.
It’s a fine and complicated line.

For what it’s worth I am in favour of a more cautious approach to immigration and more consideration of the indigenous people of a country.

And rightly or wrongly culture clash does cause friction. That is indesputable. But I’m wary of throwing the baby out with bath water.

For every militant Muslim who hates the West there are likely thousands who add to society. Perhaps it’s the fact there are thousands that’s bothering people!
