I heard the other day that Hill may be claiming the g-force made him unable to move, and thus pull out of the manoeuvre in time. Sounds like a very dubious defence to me, if true.

Surely the offence (or should I perhaps say alleged offence at this stage) would have occurred at the point when he started the manoeuvre in the first place?
