Certainly not flask or bottle top driven, no agenda at all, and I am very much aware of the demographic on here....the discussion goes on face to face at games as well.
I am just sounding opinion a bit. Whatever happens, if anything does, I shall just be watching lovely football and drinking my Harveys (hopefully simultaneously sometime soon)
I won't be involved at all, my campaigning and meetings days are over.

Sounds like most on NSC just want to do similar with their own lager, wine, or Harveys. And I include myself in this.

No one looks like being bothered enough to do anything else so far !
Out of contract June 2019 : Bruno, Bong, Hemed, Towell ( 1 further year option ).

Well thatís the thing CR, if you said to me that giving Barber money and then not turning up would have the slightest impact on him, Iíd gladly do it. But can you spot the flaw if your mentality is bean counting? Heíd probably just think of some way to resell the seat.

Itís true we often have disagreements given you support the Conservatives and Iím an old fashioned socialist but Iím surprised even from the point of view of your values you are not uneasy about this. Shouldnít you want to stand up for some kind of traditionalism. What about the individual rights of the old boy who just wants to enjoy his hot cuppa at half time as heís done for many decades? Isnít that your constituency, the people you are meant to be looking out for from all the unnecessary change merchants like me?

Or does that all go out the window if the boss says jump?
But the chap with his hot cuppa can still have his hot cuppa? What are you trying to say, because this highlighted piece really doesn't make that much sense.

That confused me too. No idea how they feel they can't do that, they just can't bring it in. Not sure how difficult it is to understand or why it's become such an issue.

You can't even read and yet you respond. It's really quite sad. Like a beached whale desperately thrashing about on a beach, except there's no one willing to push you back into the sea. Because the whale is a ****.

Yes, he was not with us during the war years, but that is true of probably every employee at the club now, players and non-players alike. I don't think even TB did that much at that time.
Incorrect. Paul Camillin for one was part of the campaign. Derek Chapman, Ray Bloom and others all played their part and are still closely involved.

I just think it's unreasonable that Seniors shouldn't have access to a hot drink at a game in the middle of winter. Due to the flask ban and the crap clogged catering queues, the only way they can do so is by missing out on a chunk of the game they've come to see in order to have easy access to the hot drink catering. Doesn't affect me personally, but feel for those that ARE affected by it. Can get wickedly cold at the Amex.

You've not been able to take Flasks into Wembley since at least 2010. How do Seniors cope there? Or are they all keeling over during the game?
900k people in Bromley & Croydon, almost double pop of Manchester. Bigger than Norwich & Ipswich. Fickle fans in terms of attendance, cup games increased attendance do not help.

A lot of Seniors (like myself) now have Bovril or Tea before the match, and then have to visit the loo at half time. You warm up in the queues to get in the cubicles (ladies).

I do realise where you're coming from and I miss the days when Liz, Sarah and I used to share a flask of soup in some far flung northen football ground.

Blimey, it's still going on. I have just had a read and there really is a large variety of opinions on there, as I thought there would be. And ironically the last post is from THPP endorsing the reason I posted the question in the first place. Just because something doesn't affect me doesn't mean I don't care about it....
All the little top-down diktats sit uncomfortably with our previous tradition of face to face discussion and consultation with the club in my opinion, and I was mooting the possibility of a revival of some kind of informal fan representation, not just to deal with the small irritations today but any bigger ones which could conceivably happen in the future. Without some kind of consensus that it's a good idea it's a non-starter, so it's a non-starter, end of. Things have moved on.
I do think it's funny and ironic that people with 40 times my post count can accuse me of attention seeking, and I shall continue to post what I want, when I want, but it will never be that often, because I do most of my online life, politics and football on FB and Twitter - and of course offline on stage. I honestly do not need any kind of endless validation for what happened in the past, I have a very full life. But people can think what they want, obviously Looking forward to Liverpool. That is the most obvious indication of how far we've come....
