Just wondering if any of you lot on here have ever had the misfortune of suffering from this?

Currently laid up in hospital with it after being diagnosed last night, not a very nice experience at all.

Nasty infection. Hopefully you're being blasted with a mother-load of antibiotics and are on the mend.

My wife used to work in ITU and has dealt with a lot of these cases. Caught early enough by the sounds of it, so you should be fine.

Get well soon, and here is as good a place as any to while the hours away!!

I've just recovered from some, as of yet unknown, virus or infection that has had me with extreme muscle and tendon pain in ankles, knees, hips, wrists and elbows. Blood tests all cam back normal except for showing extreme inflammation in the body but cause unknown. Not a pleasant Christmas or New Year for me - wasn't able to move around or walk for about 2 and a half weeks!
