Oh dear .... I'm betting 12 minutes for the Bozza statement and thread closed!

It makes you wonder about the mentality of a player that would do that. If he is an England player, then you would guess he is most likely a very high earner at club level, and has now put all of that in serious jeopardy. What a donut.

Quite possibly so don't speculate on who. I found it interesting in the BBC report that they seem to be playing down doping testing now as though it doesn't happen much now?

Perhaps the title should be amended to 'nightclub'.
As it currently reads like a football club is taking a moral approach to drugs in it's sport.

The Football Association is asking people to come forward with information after an unnamed England player was reported to have been "kicked out of a nightclub for taking cocaine".

Hint in the article.....

"The insider added: “There’s been turmoil in the dressing room most of the season and this hasn’t helped."

A North West club spring to mind for me... and one player with a scandinavian looking surname looks the type. Bit of a 'lad' ....

Saying that, Phil Jones does pull some funny faces! :lolol:

Remember when Livermore got caught doing this, but it eventually transioed that that way down to an extreme personal tragedy he'd experienced. Bottom line is, we don't know what the individual in question may be going through, and whilst it may simply be down to stupidity or somethung else, we simply don't know. Shouldn't make judgments till more information comes to light.

Manchester United spring to mind in this case... One player with a scandinavian looking surname looks the type to me.

Lucky there isn't a NO SPECULATION clause attached to this thread.

That's not who I'd have guessed.

How long before the headline changes from:-

England player takes cocaine.

to

Raheem Sterling's teammate takes cocaine.

For the full set you need to mention

His gun tattoo
His current weekly wage
His latest purchase with that wage.

Something along the lines of
"Gun-toting millionaire Raheem Sterling closely linked with cocaine abuser"

Step up Daily Mail

Or if they can't link him, chose a picture of the alleged 'abuser' playing Liverpool and have both players in shot, just in case.
