Granted it's not a much fun as the year palace were in Huddersfield's place.
Although there's still a lot of 'fun' to be had at the expense of Reading & Southampton.

Couldn’t give a toss about Palace being above us. They are 6 points behind us in the real table.

Relegation will stop that from happening. If a team was on target to concede 80 goals in the first half of 2018 then they probably got relegated and then unlikely to concede as many. You’d probably need a Sunderland type double relegation to get 80 goals conceded.

I really don't understand this current trend of producing football stats "for the calendar year". As you say, it is utterly, utterly pointless.

just like most of the Stats made up these days, other than to give pundits something pointless to pontificate on, the y serve no meaningful purpose.
