[Albion] Davy Propper is a bit of an enigma wrapped up in a riddle

Isn't he?

One minute he's rivaling Vincentalot, Bruno & Minton as the most technically gifted player ever to adorn the stripes but the next he's missing more than the passengers at Gatwick.

Thought he was one of our best players today, again.

He did a couple of things that made Gross' Cruyff turns look like playschool kickabouts.
He got the ball and always looked to drive forward.
But every once in a while he turned into a Covent Garden living statue.

Don't get me wrong, huge fan etc, but, every once in a while stick the boot in son.

Is it Propper, Prerper or Prooper, though? ???

I don't know if I'm now conflating 2 separate incidents, so excuse me if I'm a bit wrong.
But that moment on the edge of their box when he pulled down a high ball, stuck it too his boot and completely bamboozled 2 or 3 players was unbelievable.

He absolutely oozes class. Just a shame Gross hasn’t turned up yet this season to help him with the creative side of things.

I think you're right, he oozes class.
He's certainly not 'all fur coat and no knickers', far from it.
But maybe he's only wearing a thong, which is why he needs Stephens in his big bloomers next to him

What more does Gross have to do?
He must have presented 4 chances today.

I love the way that when he kicks the ball, he somehow seems to curl his whole foot round it every time - it looks so graceful.

Your problem is you watch players and matches and come on here.
