[Drinking] Super market carparks should be solar power stations.

Supermarket car parks should have armed snipers to take out every shit-flick who opens a car door onto another car leaving a dent, reverses or drives in (our out) and scuffs another car's door or bumper, or parks so close to another car the driver of the other one has to get in through the boot or sunroof.

For minor offences, being beaten to death with a solar panel is acceptable... so.... 'motion carried'.

Those who park too close to the next car should take it on the chin for being an inconsiderate tw@t if the other driver's door hits their car when they get in. Not all of us have the mobility to climb in through the boot/passenger seat or whatever.

Supermarkets should redesign their car parks so that bigger cars nowadays, can be parked to enable doors to be opened.
Our car is fine in Lidls and Sainsbury's but Morrisons is dreadful.

Supermarket car park spaces should be wider to help prevent some of the dinks and dents that occur and also to aid us less mobile old gits get out of the car without resorting to contortionism, if that is a word.:D
As for solar panels, perhaps trial them outside vegan shops, say, and if a success, the plan could be extended to supermarkets.
Alternatively , stick a couple in front of the Albion goal when we are playing the top six....... just in case.:lolol:

Or if people just reversed into the centre of a space rather than driving in forwards going in and out 17 times and still ending up with two wheels on the white lines.

Still very tight in some car parks, whether or not one goes in frontways or reverses.
As Thunder says, cars are generally bigger these days. Is a Mini 2018 size the same as a Mini 1975 size?

I can understand driving into a space at a supermarket because you want to transfer bags from the trolley directly into the boot/hatchback.

You don't half get protective of your car don't you! Each to their own, of course :)

...and that you buy an impractically oversized car.

If you read the post again, I never once mentioned my own car.... I just feel sorry for the people who have their car damaged by useless pillocks who then can't afford to have it fixed. When they come to sell the car, it's worth less - or if it's on lease, they get fined.

My point was, if you have that little respect for someone's property why don't you go round their house and throw a brick through their front window after you've finished denting and scuffing their car? Same thing.

If you don't know how to park your car, or don't know how to drive it properly - try parking at the far end of the car park away from everyone else. That, or take some driving lessons and ask to be taught how to park.

Back to the topic in hand, though. Why not have the solar panels on the roof of the supermarket?

The right answers, a real bugbear of mine, especially on Jurassic day in my local Waitrose!
