Club announced weeks ago that players wouldn't be in attendance. No biggie.
It's a reference to another thread where some idiots were moaning that the players were having a night out in Manchester rather than coming back for the kids party.

It was a good evening out, some mulled wine, kids bashing hell out of each other onnthe dodgems and the worlds hardest plastic ice rink. Whats not to like? Thanks to the club for putting this on

I know. And I'm saying most of us knew the players wouldn't be there as the club made it clear when the party was announced. What they were doing the previous night is irrelevant.
