Firstly - Brilliant technique for a CB.
Secondly - OK, so your team have 11 players on the pitch. The opposition have 9 players on the pitch and have a corner. How on earth can you leave one of the few opposition players in the box time and space to stroke home unchallenged a ball which has already bounced. Just how terrible would you have to be?

I turned to my brother after Gross was subbed off for Balogun, as March was about to take the corner and said "Wouldn't it be great if Balogun scored with his first touch".
