Hi All a friend has sever walking difficulties due to a recent illness. She wants to go to the Chelsea game(East Stand). Any advice how I can help her get to the ground as she cannot walk for more than five minuets.

Cheers wise people

First thing to do is ring the club and ask them for suggestions, they have worked things out for numerous people in the past.

Failing that - piggy back ?*

She should get herself dropped off at the University sport centre car park. The club do a shuttle bus from there for those that are less mobile. It goes from the car park to the coach park and drops off right by the lift down to the back of the south stand.

Average minuet is about 3.5 minutes long, so 5 minuets is about 17-18 minutes, giving plenty of time for her to walk from the far car park at Sussex uni or the Bridge car park.

Coat.

PS - the real answer has already been given - good luck getting her to/from the game; should be fine.
