[Football] Charlie Austin's rant post match (with music)

Thunder Bolt

Silly old bat
Most of us were ranting about the officials on Saturday, but rarely hear the players rant. They get into trouble if they do.

Charlie Austin had a goal disallowed, which proved to be a wrong decision. He ranted about it, and it was shown on MOTD

This is the original.

Ryan Butterworth, a Saints fan, set the rant to music, using Park Life.

It's about time a player said exactly what the fans think so fair play to him .

And just like the fans, he is hopelessly one-eyed in his rant.

If the ref correctly interprets the Bertrand 'challenge' on Chalobah, at 1-0, Watford get a penalty and Saints go down to ten men (he was on a yellow already). Watford go on to probably win the game comfortably, and Austin's chance never even happens.

He forgot to mention any of that, in his criticism of 'Hoops'.

Not quite the same. The ref made a call about an actual tackle (incorrectly in the eyes of pretty much everyone). You're assuming that Watford would have scored the goal and that they wouldn't at some stage have also gone down to 10 men.

That said, I agree that with you in that with VAR the penalty would probably have been given.
