I was on a heart ward at Worthing General Hospital yesterday where I've been since 26th October.
Listening to the last 15 mins of the second autumn test England vs New Zealand set at 15-16 and with radio at a reasonable level as most but not all were not interested in the commentary. Anyway with five minutes left England "score" what most thought was the match winning try in a game between current world champions and potential future world champions at the next Rugby World Cup in 2019 in Japan.
So a huge moment and I let out a shout louder than I've ever shouted and I've shouted very loudly in the past.
The poor fella opposite me who was snoozing looked like he'd been shot with an elephant gun and nurses and auxiliary staff poured onto the ward expecting God knows what.
Think I must temper my celebrations to take account of my surroundings..
