On a day for reflection and gratitude towards those whose sacrifices have allowed us to spout nonsense and abuse here at NSC, can we show a true sign of respect by being civil in the way we treat others here on the board, if just for one day.

If you choose not to that is your right, but you may end up taking a week away from NSC as a result.

It is possible to disagree with another person or group of individuals without being unpleasant about it.

NSC should also fall silent at 11am.

Whilst I think most wars can be avoided if we had decent politicians who weren't full of **it and sorted out the problems long before they escalated to war, the sacrifices of those men and women who acutally do the fighting, cannot ever be underestimated. We'd be in a very different society if they hadn't done their duty at that point.

Not sure that any posts since yesterday’s game finished have been that uncivil, certainly nothing worthy of a ban. Maybe I just haven’t seen them.

Yes thank you for Mods responsible. I was actually posting on NSC and a reminder came up it was eleven and stopped all activity. I had completely forgotten the time and this reminder stopped me and I could have my quiet time of reflection. Nice touch.
